The Santiam Climb
On their climb up the western slope of Santiam Pass, trains cross the Breitenbush River at numerous points.
Vale Oregon
As a former SP S4 switches the elevator, the Boise Flyer crosses the Breitenbush River trestle with an Alco PA in the lead. Crossing further upstream is a mixed freight lead by a pair of G9s.
Sisters Oregon
On its way to the summit of Santiam Pass, the Boise Flyer climbs the horseshoe curve that encircles Sisters, OR. It will arrive in Boise by morning.
